• Frequency: Available every 10 minutes.

Radar Imagery

Displays precipitation observed by the nine MetService radar sites across New Zealand.

• Frequency: Every 7.5 minutes (scan completion time).
• Views:
  • Airport Centric: 70km and 130km ranges, centered over airports.
  • Radar Centric: 300km range, centered over the radar site.
  • Composite: A combined image of all 300km radar views.
