API Maturity Model
To help you plan your integration, we categorize our APIs by their stage in our platform modernization journey. Note that these categories often cover different weather domains and are generally not interchangeable.
- CORE The Modern Standard: These APIs represent the future of our platform. They are built on our latest infrastructure, offering standardized JSON patterns and high performance. Please note that the overarching "Platform Guides" found in the sidebar apply exclusively to these Core APIs.
- CLASSIC The Trusted Foundation: These established APIs are the current workhorses of our data services. They are fully supported and critical to our operations. When we prioritize these for modernization in the future, we commit to providing ample notice, clear migration guides, and hands-on support to help you move to the new version. Equivalent operational information and guides for these APIs can be found within their respective dedicated pages.
