New Zealand's authoritative tidal data API, consolidated into the MetService Public API Platform.
Provides tidal predictions based on high-resolution models and LINZ gauged data.
Key Features:
- Models: High-resolution tidal models for open ocean and coastal areas.
- Stations: Observed and predicted data from specific gauge locations (LINZ).
- Predictions: Tidetimes (High/Low) and continuous Timeseries data.
Authentication
- HTTP: Bearer Auth
Send your API key as a bearer token in the Authorization header: Authorization: Bearer <your_key>.
In "Try it out", paste your key on its own. The Bearer prefix is added for you.
