GET /weather-stations/v2/stations/{station_id}/observations - Get Station Observations
GET/weather-stations/v2/stations/:station_id/observations
Retrieves a set of observations for a specified physical monitoring station (including standard weather stations and premium road weather sensors). Access to specific stations and variables is governed by your API key's entitlements.
For the latest observation across many stations in one call use
GET /stations/observations/latest. There is no bulk time-series
endpoint, so to retrieve time-series data for several stations, call
this endpoint once per station.
Time parameter modes (mutually exclusive):
- Relative window:
last_minutes=N— returns the last N minutes of observations anchored to the server clock. Ideal for polling loops and live dashboards. - Absolute range:
from_date_timeand/orto_date_time— returns observations within a fixed UTC window. Either bound may be omitted, in which case the window extends from the bound you did supply for the longest span permitted at the requestedtimestep. Supplying neither bound (and nolast_minutes) returns400 Bad Request.
Combining last_minutes with from_date_time or to_date_time in
the same request returns 400 Bad Request.
Max range cap: The time window for any query (whether expressed via
last_minutes or from_date_time/to_date_time) must not exceed
1440 minutes (24 hours). Requests exceeding this cap return
400 Bad Request.
